Today we headed over to the Ma & Dad's for dinner and football. I think if you ask Shawn what home tastes like to him, he'd go right to his mom's Sloppy Joe's. They have a very unique taste and texture, that no matter how hard we try, we just can't duplicate. The smell that permeates through the house will make your mouth water. She lets it simmer and stay warm for the day and it just says home when you walk in and smell the tomatoes and garlic mixing to perfection with the hamburger. There's just something about starting a fresh new week in the comfort of "home" that sets you on the right path.
